The product design provides the following advantages:

1. Remote Access - Providing full remote access and control of the altitude system from local computer, iPad, iPhone or Android Device.

2. Co-Polymer Membrane Technology - Providing upto 25% efficient operational advantage over competitors which provides smaller service room footprint and power consumption design.

3. Digital Oxygen Sensor -  State of the art laser optical measurement technology which provides direct digital communication from the sensor which eliminates electrical or noise immunity interference compared to 4-20mA analogue sensor.

The design of the system has multiple safety features incorporated which include:

  1. Low oxygen purity alarm, High oxygen purity alarm, Electrical System Fault - the system will alarm and then revert to normoxic conditions. The alarm condition will be displayed on the screen. This will be maintained until a qualified technician identifies and rectifies the fault.

  2. Process Control Fault – the design has a dual redundancy system to monitor if there is a process control fault. In the event of a process control fault the system will alarm and then revert to normoxic conditions. The alarm condition will be displayed on the screen. This will be maintained until a qualified technician identifies and rectifies the fault.

  3. Power Stabiliser - controller will have a small UPS power supply allowing controllers to ride through small brown outs and power fluctuations.

  4. Battery Lifecycle - Based on next generation LiFePO4 battery technology providing safer, much longer life, larger number of charging cycles

  5. Safe controlled shut down - In case of extended power loss it prevents corruption of controller memory through uncontrolled power down.

  6. Comms Check - System checks for continued digital communication between the touchscreen and TV controllers.  If communications is lost then an alarm is raised.

  7. Watchdog Check – Computer system has an external watchdog timer that continually checks the status of the controller. In the event of a system malfunction it will be automatically restarted.

The product design allows for flexible installation configuration:

  1. Service room can be upto 100m from the altitude room

  2. Service room can be internal or external.

  3. Touchscreen controller can be positioned internal or external to the altitude room.
